Insert the “it’s been 84 years” gif, as the first ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ trailer has finally been released, leaving fans with pure joy and shock of what’s to come for the MCUs third Spider-Man installment.

Let’s break down all the scenes that got fans talking right away.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Identity Crisis

Following the big cliffhanger of ‘Far From Home’, the trailer picks up right where it left off with the entire world knowing the identity of Spider-Man.

Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau)can be seen returning while being hunted by what looks to be a pair of armed forces. After having conversations with M.J., played by Zendaya, Peter realizes he needs a better plan of action: “I’ve just been thinking about how to fix all this”, which leads us to our next big reveal.

Spider-Man: No Way Home – A Strange Welcome

“When Mysterio revealed my identity, my entire life got screwed up. I was wondering if maybe you could make it so that he never did?” said Peter to the sorcerer.

The trailer confirms the return of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange kind of role he’ll have in the film. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange was rumored to appear and the trailer confirms the kind of role he’ll have in the film.

Strange offers Peter a spell that erases all memories of anyone knowing his identity. As doctor Strange performs the spell Peter begins to panic, causing Strange to, unfortunately, lose control. He creates something Marvel fans have been waiting a long time for a multiversal collapse.

“Don’t cast that spell, it’s too dangerous,” warned Wong. The consequences soon lead our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in more trouble than he started with. A spider-verse filled with problems.

Sinister Six: Multiverse Edition?

We start this list with the biggest reveal of the entire trailer. The return of beloved Doc Ock, portrayed by Alfred Molina from the Raimi Spider-Man films. “Hello, Peter” were the words that left us all in total shock.

Electro and Sandman
