Randy Hausner*The following story contains both commentary and satire. None of this is meant to reflect any opinion on the court case/s of Dale Hausner. Dale Hausner is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. My family and I continue to assert that.*

It took me over a year of inner turmoil and intense thought to decide whether I wanted to write about this story, being it of the subject nature that it is. I have decided to tell in my own words, as best and accurately as I can, the events that have transpired.

As one of the "Lost Boys" of Sudan, he has traveled a road of pain many people cannot imagine, survived against all odds and come back to become an artist, rapping about those experiences.

Yousiff, the Iraqi boy, is a badly burned victimSource: CNN.com

Five-year-old Youssif is scarred for life, his once beautiful smile turned into a grotesquely disfigured face -- the face of a horrifying act by masked men. They grabbed him on a January day outside his central Baghdad home, doused him with gas and set him ablaze.

It's an act incomprehensibly savage, even by Iraq's standards today. No one has been arrested and the motive remains unknown.
